5 Limitations of EEG (6 min): Considering questions such as: Why can't EEG measure exact brain signal? How many neurons need to be active to be detected? What physical field does EEG detect?

Decoding Brains - 7 EEG Features And What They Tell Us (28 min): My first blog post on Medium where I document what I've learned about BCIs. Deep dive into 7 EEG features: how they’re extracted, what they mean, and their uses in BCI research.

Getting Into Worms' Brains - My Final Year Project (7 min): Overview of my final year project in which I've analysed recordings of brains of worms in order to identify neurons responsible for heat avoidance behaviour. Includes links to the full report and the code.

Hacking Brains: The Security Of Brain-Computer Interfaces (16 min): My talk from the BSides London 2022 conference. Topics include: recently identified vulnerabilities, potential attack vectors, available products and technology, medical devices, privacy concerns, and what makes security difficult in BCIs.

> Malware

Detailed Malware Analysis: Fake Kernel32.dll (45 min): Very detailed analysis of the assembly code of malware that injects a fake DLL into every .exe on disk. Includes explanations of general assembly code and programming concepts.
